Elegant January

This year winter is wonderful in Corfu. It's warm and sunny almost everyday. The only trouble is a north wind which reminds that it's January at the calendar. Me and Pete are enjoying the holiday week and treat ourselves with walks, delicious food and coffee, night movies and some house works. I'm feeling very positive about 2018 and excited to share with you some amazing news a time later. Till then there will be a lot of gentle winter looks on Shiny Honey which are simle to repeat and to play with.

We had so much free time this week, that we have visited one of my the most favorite places in Corfu - The Old Fortress. This place is the concentration of strength and energy with its gorgeous views, unique atmosphere and the touch of history. We were lucky enough to have the all Fortress only for the two of us which made it even more special. By the way, while all summer long you need to buy a ticket to go inside, it's absolutely for free in winter for local people.

Being located next to the sea, The Old Fortress forces to wear a warm jacket or in my case Vintage Wool Shawl from Gamiss. I love this elegant piece because of its practicality, nice color combination and soft fabric. The length is amazing here: long in the back and shorter in front which makes the Poncho to wave in the wind. As I told you already many times, Ponchos are my favorite! I love how simple it is to style them, how little place they take in my closet and how warm they're.

The other elegant detail you definitely have noticed already is The Basket Tote Bag from Gamiss. It's decorated with silk black bow and looks absolutely pretty during winter season. I believe that there is nothing more gentle and feminine than a woman with the basket bag. That's why this model is one of my favorite right now. I'm sure that Basket Bags will continue to be trendy and stylish forthcoming summer. So don't be afraid to get one for yourself. They are really practical, very pretty and take a lot of attention in a good way.

This January I'm up to the elegant and gentle outfits with romantic and chic details. However I'm trying to keep it looking good on the background of Corfu nature, weather and colors.
